Descriptive Pictures of My Journey

I do not have many pictures of my teaching journey until my practicum in the Winter of 2024, so the images in this section will showcase what I have done in my lessons so far.

This video was taken while practicing my shadow puppetry for a lesson I was teaching in poetry using shadow puppets.

For one of my lessons, I had students write what they were grateful for in response to “The Grateful Book” by Angela Kohler.

These are pictures of student work.

One of my more creative lessons was for students to create a comic strip about hibernation. We brainstormed about animals, setting, and plot, and I taught them about onomatopoeia and some new story-related terms.

This is a picture of me describing some of the terms you see on the board.

Here are some student comic strips:

Lastly, my first practicum class had the students create “Thank You” books, in which they drew a picture and discussed what they liked about me and my practicum partner. We were both given individual books from all 24 students.
